To the editor:
Mr. Clawson brags about his Harvard MBA. From what I've been told, to get that degree he had to take a class on "situational ethics." His business record seems to indicate he listened very carefully. Strategic bankruptcy, government bailout of his pension plan and a golden parachute he denies getting. When I was growing up ethics weren't situational. Right was right and wrong was wrong.
One last thought. When you look at the educational background of most of the CEOs involved in the '08 crash and George W. Bush you find that they too had MBAs from Harvard. When you take that into consideration I'm not sure that's something I'd brag about.
