The Florida Everblades return to home ice Friday and Saturday nights to finish their three-game homestand as they battle the Gwinnett Gladiators both nights at Germain Arena.
It's "Pink in the Rink" weekend. The Blades are wearing "Pink in the Rink" themed jerseys that will be auctioned off for charity following Saturday's game, courtesy of Radiology Regional Center.
Friday's game drops the puck at 7:30 p.m. with Saturday's rematch starting at 7 p.m.
The Blades (28-27) face the remainder of the season playing for their playoff lives. With 63 points, they are tied for the eighth and final spot in the ECHL's Eastern Conference playoff standings. Their streak of appearing in the playoffs all 16 seasons of their franchise existence is in jeopardy over the final 18 games.
After Saturday's game, the Blades go on a six-game, nine-day road trip where they are 18-12 this season.
Tickets are on sale at the arena box office, 10:00 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and again on Saturday.
