Sandra Lynn King, 50, of Cape Coral, formerly of Bolingbrook, Ill., passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014, in Naples, Fla. She was born July 28, 1963, in Chicago, to Albert D. King and Carol Hicks, now deceased.
She was of the spiritual faith.
She is survived by her son, Nathan Staal of Virginia; mother, Pat Koelber of Cape Coral; two stepchildren, Serena Staal of Bradenton, Fla., and Kelcee Staal of Waukegan, Ill.; three sisters, Debra Sotira (Steve) of Romeoville, Ill., Tamera Marr of North Fort Myers and Jennifer Bertuzzi (Gary) of Cape Coral; one brother, Allen Climer (Tammy J.) of Shorewood, Ill.; two grandchildren, Jayla Maziel Hernandez-Staal and Justice Houston; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Time of Remembrance will be held from 2-5 p.m., Sunday, March 9, at Mullins Memorial, 1056 N.E. 7th Terrace, Cape Coral. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. with Pastor Dennis Gingerich officiating.
