Dorothy Woolard Lambing, 96, of Fort Myers, died Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, in Cape Coral.
She was a homemaker and long-time member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, Ftort Myers. She was born April 15, 1917, in Beloit, Wis., to Clyde and Mabel Markley Woolard. After her mother's death in 1918, she moved with her father to Fort Pierce, Fla., in 1919.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lambing (1993); her daughter, Linda Price (2002); and two brothers, Charles Clyde and William Woolard.

She is survived by her son, Charles "Chuck" (Carol) Lambing of Cape Coral; son-in-law, Bob Price of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; grandsons, Donald (Melody) Lambing and Larry (Jolene) Lambing; and four great grandchildren, Clayton, Caden, Jordan and Ryah; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. with a funeral at 11 a.m., today, Feb. 28, at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers. Interment will follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
