Branch of Life Christian Fellowship

The Branch of Life Christian Fellowship is a spirit-filled, contemporary Christian church, located at 815 S.E. 47th St., Cape Coral.

Cape Baptist Church

Cape Baptist will hold a church-wide garage sale Saturday, March 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Many families in the church are donating items to be sold at the garage sale. Hot dogs and soda will also be available for sale.

AWANA youth club is for kids ages 3 years old through 6th grade. Meetings are held each Thursday from 6:30-8 p.m. Kids have an exciting time playing games, winning prizes and learning about Jesus Christ.

Teens are invited to come to the Impact Youth Group. Students in 7th-12th grades are welcome. Impact meets every Wednesday evening from 6:30-8. Participants will play games, have snacks and learn how God wants teens to live their lives.

Ladies' Bible Study takes place every Friday at 2 p.m. The group dives into the inexhaustible word of God. Currently the group is studying "Women of the Bible."

Join the congregation Sundays at 11 a.m. for a time spent in God's word! Pastor Holler brings timely truths and practical tips from the Bible on day-to-day Christian living.

Cape Christian Fellowship

Cape Christian Fellowship is covering God's plans for marriage in its current message series, "Love Story," and one of the free resources offered is Pastor Wes Furlong's new eBook "28 Days to a New Marriage." The book exposes the "three killer myths of modern marriage," offers "four decisions that can reset your marriage" and includes a 21-day series of devotionals focused on God's sacrificial love.

Cape Coral Community Church

Cape Coral Community Church is holding a GriefShare recovery seminar and support group on Tuesdays, 6-8 p.m., through May 13. The church is located at 811 Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral.

GriefShare sessions include a video, featuring nationally recognized experts of grief,and group discussions focused on those who have lost a loved one through death. Seminar sessions include "The Effects of Grief," "Why" and "Stuck in Grief."

Church Women United of Lee County

The Church Women United of Lee County will hold a World Day of Prayer event, "Streams in the Desert," Friday, March 7, at the North Church of the Nazarene, 6781 Bayshore Road, North Fort Myers.

Crosspoint Christian Church

Crosspoint Christian Church will join several other churches across Cape Coral for the special sermon series, "One," beginning Sunday, March 9. The three-week series will focus on the unity that we have as followers of Jesus Christ. We have one mission, one Spirit and one voice.

Evangelical Presbyterian Church

Evangelical Presbyterian Church invites everyone to its worship service this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Brent Lauder will be preaching from his new series, titled "Vital Signs." The church has started a new Adult Sunday School class called, "Presbyterianism 101," a theology class on the Presbyterian denomination. This class and other Sunday School classes for all ages start at 9:15 a.m.

Legendary missionary Otto Koning, famous for "The Pineapple Story," the true life events surrounding his ministry among head-hunting cannibals in Irian Jaya, Indonesia, will speak Sunday, March 2, at First Baptist Church of Cape Coral, at Del Prado Boulevard and Coronado Parkway.

Koning will give "The Pineapple Story" in the 10 a.m. service and then a follow-up message on "Surrender of Rights" in a special 6 p.m. service. The public is welcome.

Seventh-day Adventist Church

On Saturday, March 8, from 8-10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, guest speaker Dr. Hans Diehl, director of CHIP (Coronary Health Improvement Program) will address how CHIP is a powerful disease reversal tool to address the rising chronic disease rates in a highly effective manner. His morning presentations will be followed by a free luncheon.

The church's "Missionary of the Month" is the Rev. Allen Vander Pol, a missionary and professor for Miami International Seminary. He writes theology courses in English for students around the world who study with MINTS. He supervises students and study centers in Southeast Asia. He travels to India, Myanmar and the Philippines to teach and supervise the work of study centers there.

Vander Pol was pastor of Trinity Reformed Church for 13 years before he went into full-time missions. Prior to that he pastored churches in Minnesota and New Zealand. He attended Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia and Calvin Theological Seminary. He holds a D.Min. from MINTS?International Seminary. He has written courses and articles, as well as the book on the Trinity - "God in Three Persons:?Biblical Testimony of the Trinity."

Trinity Reformed Church is a member of the United Reformed Churches of North America, a federation of churches located throughout the United States and Canada. It is part of the wider Reformed and Presbyterian family of churches.
