Faye Diane Romaine, 80, a Cape Coral resident for over two years, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday night, Feb. 18, 2014, in her home. She was born Oct. 20, 1933, in Buffalo, N.Y., to William and Virginia White, now deceased.
She was of the Christian faith. She was a stay-at-home mom until her children were grown. At that time, due to her love of flowers and plant,s she attended classes in Chicago and became a floral arranger. She worked for Heidenrich Florist in Indianapolis for several years. Later she worked as a housekeeper doing both residential and then commercial cleaning until retirement.
She is survived by her three loving children, Diana Davis and her partner Jack Bowman of Cape Coral, Richard Spurgeon of Lafayette, Ind., and Deana (Ronald) McDonald of Boonville, Ind.; a sister, Barbara Davis of Emporia, Kan.; 10 grandchildren, Jason and his fianc Collette, Joshua, Kyle (Lindsey), Gregory, Michelle, Ashlee (Jerry) and Krissy; as well as 12 great-grandchildren, Thea, Elena, Jackson, Brooklynn, Jay, Joel, Elijah, Baby Liam, Mason, Jillian, Gabby and Emma; along with many nieces, nephews and great-nieces.

Mrs. Romaine was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Romaine, and a brother, William White.
