Regina “Jeanne” Anne DeLacy

Regina “Jeanne” Anne DeLacy, 81, of Cape Coral, passed away peacefully Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born Oct. 9, 1932, in Philadelphia. She married her late husband, John DeLacy, with whom she had seven children.  She did an amazing job raising her children in Upper Darby, Pa.  She owned and operated The Shamrock Pub in Philadelphia for many years.  She relocated to Florida in 1990, where she became a certified private-duty nurse caring for the elderly. She was such a loving and caring Mom, Mom Mom and Great Grandmom.  Everyone who knew her, fell in love with her amazing spirit, generosity and caring soul. She will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis Bonner and Katherine Meade; her brothers, Dan Bonner, Tom Bonner, Dennis Bonner and Jack Bonner; her sisters, Betty McMenamin, Kally Reisenwitz and Rene Johnson; and her infant daughter, Regina DeLacy.  She is survived by her brother, Frank Bonner; her loving children, John DeLacy, Maureen Brennan, Patricia DeLacy, Jeanne DeLacy, Linda Cheyne (Rob) and Kim Michelsen (Paul); as well as six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  A memorial service will be held Monday, Feb. 3, at 2 p.m., at St. Katherine Drexel Church in Cape Coral.  Memorial contributions may be sent in her memory to the National Breast Cancer Coalition.  Please visit www.fullermetz.com for online condolences and details.
