Three vehicles, including a city of Cape Coral Charter School bus, were involved in a crash eastbound on Veterans Memorial Boulevard shortly before 4 p.m. today.

There were no reported injuries, on-scene public safety officials said, however parents of the 19 students from Christa McAuliffe Charter Elementary School that were on the bus were called and given the option of picking up their children.

"The bus had no significant damage; no one on the bus was injured," said Cape Coral Fire Department spokesperson Michael Heeder.

One child, who had complained of stomach pains, did not require treatment.

The Cape Coral Police Department is conducting the traffic investigation.

No additional information was immediately available.
