Better Homes and Garden Real Estate opens office in Cape

January 10, 2014
Special to The Breeze (news@breezenewspapers.com) , Cape Coral Daily Breeze

Better Homes and Garden Real Estate / Market America Group has opened its first Cape Coral office. The company currently has two offices in Fort Myers and one in Sarasota. The renovations on their new offices at 615 Cape Coral Parkway, West ,have just been completed. The office boasts a contemporary open plan that supports the high tech open culture of the new brand.

"We didn't want closed in private offices," offered Gregg Fous, broker/founder. "When clients and agents walk into our offices we want them to immediately feel welcome. They will be greeted with open glass walls, and are immediately are impressed with the feeling of high technology large screen monitors for virtual tours and double screens at every station. This is a design concept that we will be implementing in the rest of our offices throughout the state. Fort Myers office are undergoing a similar design change as well."

Market America Realty Group residential offices all became Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Oct. 8, 2013.

"It was important for the company to carry a national brand, and Better Homes and Gardens is the only lifestyle real estate brand we would consider. It's fresh, high tech and has a well established reputation that fits well with our culture.

"Better Homes and Gardens has 97 percent brand recognition in the United States," continued Fous, "While the Market America Realty brand was strong in Fort Myers and Sarasota, I felt we needed the support of a national brand and their infrastructure to grow in Cape Coral. We built the Cape Coral office to house 30 agents, we have a strong core group of 14 agents now, so we are heavily recruiting. It is difficult to succeed as a Mom and Pop brokerage; technology is moving fast and many of the expenses, like a strong web presence, are prohibitive for a smaller agency. Inventory is low now and agents need to get more listings. The Better Homes and Gardens name helps us do that."

The company now has 68 agents in its three offices and has plans for additional offices in Cape Coral, which Fous has targeted as a high growth market for his clients.
