Minnesota Twins single-game Spring Training tickets go on sale on at the Hammond Stadium box office at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
For the first time, fans will be able to experience the stadium's ongoing upgrades including the new 360-degree boardwalk and outfield concourse, new berm seating in left field and an expanded seating capacity.
Single-game tickets also can be purchased Saturday online at www.twinsbaseball.com, and by phone 1-800-33-TWINS (800-338-9467). Box office hours at Hammond Stadium are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The box office will have extended hours on Jan. 11 until 4 p.m. as well as during spring home games.
Twins pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report on Sunday, Feb. 16, with their first workout slated on Feb. 17. The balance of the squad reports on Friday, Feb. 21, with full-squad workouts beginning Feb. 22.
The Twins' Grapefruit League schedule features 31 games (16 home) starting with a Friday, Feb. 28, road matchup at the World Champion Boston Red Sox. The Twins open their home slate on Saturday, March 1, with the Red Sox at Hammond Stadium.
The Twins' home schedule include two additional games against the Red Sox (March 13 and 28); a visit by the NL Champion St. Louis Cardinals (March 6); and visits from the NL Wild Card Pittsburgh Pirates (March 12 and 26); and the AL Wild Card Tampa Bay Rays (March 18 and 24); and the New York Yankees (March 22).
