Janice Louise Seaman, 56, was born Nov. 18, 1957, in Passaic, N.J., to her parents, Andrew and Anna (Milazzo) Repetti, now deceased, and passed away Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, in Cape Coral.

Survivors include her loving husband of 29 years, Allen Seaman; sisters, Pamela Repetti, and Andrea (Joseph) Holmes; sister-in-law, Judy Place; brother-in-law, Fred Seaman; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

She worked for the New Jersey Racing Commission for 27 years. She started as secretary and worked her way to be the first female chief inspector. She retired to Cape Coral in 2003 along with her husband, Allen. After four years of retirement she became president of three corporations and inventor of multiple patents. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.

A visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 15, from 2-6 p.m., at the Fuller Metz Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Dec. 16, at St. Andrew Catholic Church beginning at 11:30 a.m.
