The Cape Coral Sea-hawks suffered their first defeat of the soccer season 4-1 at the hands of six-time state champion Tampa Jesuit Saturday in Tampa.
Camillo Avendano's un-assisted goal ended up being the only goal for the Seahawks (6-1). Goal-keepers Austin Lachmann and Alex Collazo combined for 11 saves.
The Seahawks travel to Golden Gate on Monday.
Mariner 56, Ida Baker 29: In its season opening game, Mariner broke it open in the first half and coasted to victory over crosstown rival Ida Baker Friday night.
Kris Carpenter led the Tritons with 17 points, including five three-pointers. Rodney Hunter added 12 points.
Kevin Acevedo led the Bulldogs with eight points.
"It was not an impressive first game, but it's back tyo work on Monday," said Tritons coach James Harris. "Baker came ready to play, but I think we wore them out."
The Tritons (1-0) play an in-school game at 12:15 p.m. Monday at Riverdale.

Thadeus Ward contributed 12 points, including two three-pointers for the Vikings (1-0), who host South Fort Myers Saturday.
Winfred Ward hit a game-hith 26 points for the Jaguars.
Estero 74, Oasis 25: Owen Roos chipped in 15 points and seven rebounds with Brooks Pratt adding six points in a losing effort for Oasis. Friday at Estero.
The Sharks (1-2) host Southwest Florida Christian Monday.
Oasis 58, Mariner 25: Jordan Westendorf connected for a game-high 24 points and pulled down 14 rebounds to lead Oasis to victory Friday over Mariner.
Samantha Wood added 20 points for the Sharks (3-1) who host Southwest Florida Christian Monday.
North Fort Myers 54, Ida Baker 37: Jessie Placher pitched in 26 points to go with four assists and Kathleen Driscoll pulled down 17 rebounds in Baker's loss to North Fort Myers Friday night.
The Bulldogs (1-5) play at Mariner on Monday.
