Mariner suddenly has gone ice cold from scoring range, suffering its second consecutive scoreless tie Monday night against Estero. The Tritons also played to a scoreless tie with Fort Myers Friday night.

"We're struggling to find opportunities to score," said Tritons coach Martin Cardenas. "However, our back four defenders are playing outstanding."

Cardenas also singled out reserve Daniel Gill for his strong play at midfield when inserted into the fray. Goalkeeper Alex Trujillo made two saves in the first half and Michael Laborde saved three shots in the second half to post the shutout.
