Vote Sullivan, Leetz, Headd, Williams

To the editor:

Nov. 5th is upon us. It is imperative that those that have not voted by early voting or absentee ballot to make that herculean effort to get to the polls on Nov. 5th. Every vote is crucial in this election to provide balance on the Cape Coral City Council. As it stands right now we have had a litany of 6-2 votes that has given us a Public Service Tax, Fire Assessment and Utility assessments in SW 6-7 etc.

The mantra has always been "Keep it in the Cape"! With the actions of the majority that we have now, the new mantra should be "take it out of the Cape"! What they have done is a business killer! The businesses will not eat the PST or the Fire Service Assessment but rather pass it on to their customers, forcing customers to shop outside of Cape Coral! Moreover, there are many families that just cannot afford the PST or the Fire Service assessment pushing them to the edge of insolvency!

We as a city cannot afford to have votes that will be 8-0. We need a real balance on this Council and not more of the same.

We have John Sullivan and Chris Leetz running for re-election. They have fought for the residents at every turn. Their only thought when voting is how this will affect the residents of Cape Coral. They have been the lone voices for the residents on the Council.

We have David Headd running for Council in District 1. This is a man that is a highly educated economist. He brings incredible credentials to the Council and must be elected.

We have Rick Williams running for Council in District 6. This is also a highly educated man with a well rounded background in business. He also brings incredible credentials to the Council and must be elected.

This is your opportunity to right the ship in Cape Coral and bring government back to the people.

Please join me by Voting for Sullivan, Leetz, Headd and Williams on Nov. 5th to truly bring balance to the Council.
