Frances Mary (Deleacaes) Haight

October 24, 2013
Cape Coral Daily Breeze

Frances Mary (Deleacaes) Haight, 82, of Cape Coral went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013. She was born in Hackensack, N.J., to Charles Carlo Deleacaes and Lena Sellarole Feb. 27, 1931, both who have preceded her, along with her brother, Pasquale (Pat) Deleacaes and sister, Doris Deleacaes in passing into eternity.

She moved to Fort Myers in the early '70s following her brother, Pat's family. She was led to the Lord by her brother in 1982 and was a faithful member and attendee at First Assembly of God Church for about 20 years, and is well known for her love that was shown to many people with grace, mercy and acceptance, leading to her fondly being called "Mom" by all those that were drawn to her in love.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Russell Moran of Colorado, Linda Donohue of New Jersey; Fran Holchi of New Jersey, Sharon K. Smith (Frank) of Florida, Herbert W. Goomes Jr. of Florida, Frances Cascio (Patrick) of Florida and Carlo G. Groomes of Florida; multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, as well as many other family members and friends.

She will be remembered and cherished in our hearts and will continue to influence all of our lives, through the strong faith she carried with her always, pouring out Christ's love to everyone that would receive it, and leaving a legacy to all those that had their lives touched by her presence. She will be greatly missed here in our lives, but we rejoice in knowing that she is with the Lord, completely healed and restored.

1Thessalonians 4:13 (KJV)

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

A service will be held Friday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m., in the First Assembly of God, 4701 Summerlin Road, Fort Myers.

In lieu of flowers, please honor Frances by donating to one of the organizations that she supported: Stella's Voice (ministry to the orphans of Moldova) or BGMC (Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge) via First Assembly of God at the above address. It was Frances' desire to be a blessing to these organizations that she herself supported.

Friends may sign the guest book at www.horizonfunerals.com.
