Lois Maxine Hatton, 89, of Cape Coral formerly of North Fort Myers, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013. She was born Aug. 5, 1924 in Detroit, to John Henry McFarland and Delia (nee: Warner) McFarland. She worked for General Dynamics in the Army Tank Production department. She moved to North Fort Myers in 1987 from Warren, Mich. She was a member of the Eagles Aerie # 2495 of East Detroit, Mich., and the Women of The Moose, Dearborn, Mich. She enjoyed bingo, bowling and reading, and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving family including her five children, Kathleen Essad, Susan Esposito, Theresa Hatton, Debbie Yasbeck and Robert Hatton; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Norman and Jimmy, and daughter, Sharyn Dooley.

Visitation was held Monday, Oct. 21, at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Road, Cape Coral, with a funeral Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the funeral home. Burial was at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
The family suggests donations in her memory be made to Hope Hospice, Cape Coral.
