He has been a golf course irrigation tech as well as a crew leader, head tech and manager for Omega Irrigation. He was also the manager of Superior Irrigation for 12 years.
He is Rainbird Watersmart certified, graduated from Toro University or irrigation and is also a certified landscape irrigation auditor and certified in landscape water management with the Irrigation Association of America. He is two-wire certified for large irrigation projects and a certified backflow preventer. He is also Florida Better Business Practice certified.

Shops at Surfside
to hold trick-or-treat bash
Eleven stores in the Shops at Surfside will be participating in the shopping center's first annual trick-or-treat bash this year.
Children and their parents are welcome to visit between 5:30-8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31, for free candy, prizes, discounts and refreshments.
The shops are also hosting a pet parade and costume contest on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will raise funds for the American Cancer Society and Gulf Coast Humane Society. Vendors will be on site to offer face painting, animal grooming and vaccinations, and prizes for cutest pet and scariest Halloween costume.
The events are being spearheaded by Century 21 Surfside and Paradise Deli.
Nine other stores are participating, including HomeGoods, Spirit Halloween, Anytime Fitness, Paradise Pool, Elmquist Eye Group, Belk, GameStop, Kelly's Dance, and Surfside Dental.

Ted Todd Insurance Agency is installing 56 new iMac desktop computers in all seven offices across South Florida for uniformity of its computer technology. The new, all-in-one computers feature extra-large 27-inch monitors, with Intel quad-core i5 Haswell processors running up to 3.4 GHz, and Nvidia GeForce 700 series graphics with 40% faster performance over previous models. The new iMacs were all purchased locally at the Apple store located at Coconut Point Mall.
Next month, the firm will install a large hard drive to centrally host all the iMacs so that each individual can sit at any desk at any of our seven office locations throughout Florida and still access their own computer system and documents.

Southwest Florida International Airport
reports September traffic
During September, 338,175 passengers traveled through Southwest Florida International Airport, a decrease of 4.6 percent compared to September 2012. Year-to-date, passenger traffic is up 4.6 percent from the same period last year.
The traffic leader in September was Delta with 79,289 passengers traveling to and from Fort Myers. Rounding out the top five airlines were AirTran (57,353), JetBlue (41,533), US Airways (40,439) and American (24,270).
Southwest Florida International Airport had 4,070 aircraft movements (takeoffs and landings), a decrease of 4.7 percent compared to September 2012. Page Field saw 5,044 movements, a 14.6 percent decrease from September 2012. In addition, slightly more than 2.3 million pounds of air freight moved through Southwest Florida International Airport in September 2013, a decrease of 9.3 percent compared to September 2012.
Southwest Florida International Airport served more than 7.3 million passengers in 2012 and is one of the top 50 U.S. airports for passenger traffic.
