Richard Charles Rogers, 62, of Arcadia, Fla., formerly of Cape Coral, died unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Rogers was born in Port Huron, Mich., March 30, 1951, a son of Charles E. Rogers and Betty Teeple Rogers, now deceased.
He was retired from plant operations with the Lee Memorial Health System with 15 years of faithful employment. Preceding him in death besides his parents was his son, Noel Christopher Rogers, who passed away in 2007.
He had resided in Arcadia since 2011 coming from Cape Coral.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 42 years, Dorothy Rogers of Arcadia, and a sister, Betty Cookson of Georgia.
