Green Wave dismantle Bulldogs

Ida Baker was overmatched by Fort Myers Thursday night in straight sets 25-8, 25-9, 25-13.

The Bulldogs had four players with just two kills - Devin Ramey, Amanda Gross, Kristina Kayatta and Machaela Sheffield. Gross added 13 digs, Ramey seven digs and Kayatta had two assists.

The reeling Bulldogs (13-6) host Cypress Lake Tuesday night.

Oasis 3, SWF Christian 0: Larra Bickelhaupt delivered a dozen kills to go with six service aces to lead Oasis to victory over SWF Christian Thursday night 25-17, 25-17, 25-16.

Bickelhaupt got plenty of help from teammates like Danielle Bebber with eight kills and Tiffany Schram with six kills. Vanessa Robbins added three kills and three aces.

The Sharks (15-6) play at Seacrest on Monday.

Ida Baker 160, Fort Myers 181: Ross Lally and Alec DiLallo turned in nine-hole rounds in the 30s Thursday to lead Ida Baker to victory over Fort Myers at Palmetto Pine Country Club in a makeup match before Monday's district tournament.

Ida Baker 160 - Ross Lally 38, Alec DiLallo 39, Gage Wilson 45, Rueben Beard 46.

Fort Myers 181 - Hayden Courey 44, Chris Prozeralik 45, Cameron Sadighi 45, Robet Burkert 47.
