The 6th annual "Breakfast with The Blades Fire & Ice" is set for Sunday, Oct. 20, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at The Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs.
The morning supportsthe capital construction campaign of Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida to be built on the campus of HealthPark Medical Center in Fort Myers. Guests will be treated to breakfast with the full Florida Everblades hockey team.
Presented by LongHorn Steakhouse of Gulf Coast Town Center, the morning features a gourmet meal, autograph session and outstanding live and silent auctions.
Live auction packages include tickets to see Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos high-flying offense in Denver, the opportunity to view LeBron James and the Miami Heat play from some of the most desirable seats at American Airlines Arena in Miami, and a premium Boston, Mass., getaway featuring a Boston Bruins game.
Also up for bid is the opportunity to attend the once-in-a-lifetime experience of seeing The New York Rangers battle the New Jersey Devils as the NHL takes its game outdoors to Yankee Stadium. Many other memorabilia and trips are featured in the auctions.
The event is supported in part by The Club at Renaissance, Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, The Florida Everblades, Century Link, The Pink Pineapple, Lee Memorial Health System Foundation and Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida.
Former Everblades star and jersey retiree Tom Buckley of McWilliams Buckley realty company will serve as Honorary Chairman of the event.
Tickets are $100 with limited seating offered at $50 for children under 12 years old.

The Everblades play their two preseason games this weekend, Friday and Saturday, at Germain Arena against the Orlando Solar Bears. Those two teams also open the regular season at Garmain Arean on Oct. 18 & 19.
