Karl "Superman" Edward Nawskon, 40, of Cape Coral passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Hope Hospice. He was born in Holyoke, Mass., in 1972 to Ed and Joann Nawskon. He graduated from Westfield, Mass., Vocational High School in 1991. He joined the U.S. Army in 1993 and served proudly in Iraq from 2003 to 2004. He transferred to the U.S. Air Force in 2009 where he was currently serving.
He was an avid boater, Corvette lover and enjoyed working on anything with a motor. He enjoyed anything to do with the water. He wanted to let everyone know he lived the life he wanted and was happy.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn "KC" of Cape Coral; his mother, Joann (Frank) Germain of Chicopee, Mass.; his father, Ed (Tracy) Nawskon of Agawam, Mass.; three brothers; Aaron (Amber) Nawskon of Westfield, Mass., Daniel Nawskon of Northhampton, Mass., and Joel Nawskon of Agawam, Mass.; one sister, Jill Gambrell of Chicopee, Mass.; two nieces, Elizabeth Nawskon and Lily Gambrell; one nephew, Kayson Nawskon; and three best furry friends, Rudy, Jack and Levi.
Services will take place in Agawam, Mass. Local arrangements are by Fuller Metz Cremation and Funeral Services.
