Life Made Easy
Life Made Easy LLC of Cape Coral has earned accreditation in the National Home Watch Association for the second consecutive year.
Life Made Easy is owned by Jerry and Cindy McKay, who moved to Cape Coral almost 13 years ago from Oshkosh, Wis. While in Wisconsin, they owned rental property and rehabbed properties. After moving to Florida, Jerry became employed by the city of Cape Coral as a groundskeeper at its golf course and Cindy became employed as an executive assistant to the CEO of a large healthcare facility. Over the years, neighbors and friends would ask them to watch over their homes while they traveled. When Cindy returned to college to obtain her bachelor's degree, she had to write a business plan, which is how Life Made Easy LLC was born. After doing the research on Home Watch, and knowing their own personal strengths with property management, it just made sense to them that it would help out many residents, and especially the snowbirds, in the community.
Both of the McKays are involved in the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce and the National Home Watch Association. Individually, Jerry is also a member of the Fraternal Order of Elks, and Cindy is a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals. They also are involved with various charities, and especially with Hope Hospice.
The National Home Watch Association was formed in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for Home Watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada (www.nationalhomewatchassociation.org).
