To the editor:
Whatever happened to charity begins at home?
Let's take the first $100 million that our government wants to give to the Syrian people who have lost their homes due to the uprising in Syria. We are supposedly not involved in this battle!!! Instead of sending $100 million overseas to Syria, let's spend the first $100 million on the people in the good old U.S.A., who have lost their homes due to Chinese drywall.
Let's take the second $100 million, which is the cost for President Obama and his family to take an African vacation, and instead give it to the people in the U.S.A. who have lost or are still losing their homes due to bank fraud.
Bank fraud is ongoing and Congress and the media have turned a blind eye.
I challenge the media and Congress to stop this criminal action!
If someone steals your car you call the police. If someone steals your home who do you call - Ghostbusters???
I have no objection to President Obama taking a reasonably priced vacation, but I think he should wait until 2016, when he's out of office to go to Africa on his own dime.
