Harold F. Kronforst, 94, of Cape Coral, was taken to his heavenly home on Saturday, June 8, 2013. He was born in Two Rivers, Wis., Jan. 25, 1919, the second of eight children born to William and Clara Kronforst. He married his wife, LaJune, in 1941, and worked as an assistant works manager for Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc. In 1981, Harold and LaJune moved to Cape Coral.They were founding members at Abiding Love Lutheran Church, where Harold remained an active member until the day he died.
He is survived by his sisters, Mickey Erickson and Alice (Harvey) Turner, many nieces and nephews and many special friends. He touched the lives of many people through his volunteer hours at Cape Coral Hospital and while wearing his red Abiding Love shirt while visiting the "old people" during his nursing home ministries.
A memorial service was held at Abiding Love Lutheran Church Tuesday. He will be buried next to his wife, LaJune, at Knowlwood Memorial Gardens, Manitowoc, Wis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Abiding Love Lutheran Church.
