Norma Bracciodieta, 77, a Cape Coral resident for the last 18 years, formerly of Long Island, N.Y., passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013, in Fort Myers. She was born Sept. 9, 1935, in New York, N.Y., to Walter and Rose Jaenike, now deceased.

She was a dedicated member of Cape Christian Fellowship since 1998. Her deep abiding faith in God sustained her. She was a devoted and loving wife, as well as a caring and affectionate mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a faithful and considerate friend, caring selflessly for everyone before herself. She will be remembered for her unconditional love and kindness for her family, her faith and all those she touched. She has risen to her final destination to be with God. We love you and will miss you dearly!

She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Joe Bracciodieta of Cape Coral; eight children, Michael (Alina) Bracciodieta of Tampa, Joseph Bracciodieta of Farmingville, N.Y., Janis Davies of Seneca, S.C., Glen (Beverly) Bracciodieta of Selden, N.Y., Debra (Robert) Logan, also of Selden, N.Y., Randy Bracciodieta of Central Islip, N.Y., Cindy (Mike) Hughes of Coram, N.Y., and Tracy (Wayne) Scott of Cape Coral; as well as 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Peter Davies.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 9, at Cape Christian Fellowship, 2110 Chiquita Blvd., Cape Coral, with Pastor Dennis Gingerich officiating. Visitation will be held today, May 8, from 6-8 p.m., at Mullins Memorial, 1056 N.E. 7th Terrace, Cape Coral.

Memorial contributions in memory of Norma Bracciodieta are suggested to the Cape Christian Fellowship Building Fund, 2110 Chiquita Blvd., Cape Coral, FL 33991.
