Dennis Lee Brown, 59, of Cape Coral passed away Monday, April 22, 2013. He was born in Akron, Ohio, in 1954 and grew up in Springfield Township. He graduated from Kent State University where he played football on the 1972 team that played in the Tangerine Bowl.
He had a successful 23 year career as a CPA, primarily in the oil and gas industry in Texas and Utah. He especially enjoyed being the "Computer Wizard" and "Mr. Spreadsheet" for his last two employers. He retired to Cape Coral in 2001 where he enjoyed golf and volunteer work at Cape Coral Hospital.
He will be remembered as a loving father, husband, son, brother, teammate and friend.
The greatest memories of Dennis' life were the births of his children, Alexander and Ariel.
Mr. Brown leaves behind his wife, Pam; his children, Alex, Ariel, Alex-Zander and Aaron; his father, Archie; his mother, Jean; brothers, Jim (Carole), Donald (Paula) and Tony (Diane); sister, Kathy (Dave); and many nieces and nephews.
A private family remembrance has taken place. Donations in Dennis' memory can be made to the Cape Coral Hospital Auxiliary.
