Lorraine Quinn, 82, of Cape Coral passed away Monday, April 1, 2013, at her home. She was born in the Bronx, N.Y., Feb. 23, 1931, to John and Hester Bailey. She lived in the Bronx for many years. She worked with buyers at Alexander's Department Store in Manhattan and Long Island.
She married Robert John Quinn in 1976 in Westbury, N.Y. She moved to Cape Coral in 1978 and worked at Casa Loma Motel and Goodwill Industries. She was a member of TOPS, where she had many friends. She will be remembered as a devoted K-Mart Shopper.
Survivors include her five daughters, Jean Marie (Jerry) Buist of Monroe, Ga., Patricia (Larry) Hergott of Knoxville, Tenn., Nancy (John) Freitag of Orlando, Fla., Roberta (Tom) Hinkle of Cape Coral and Elizabeth (Doran) Greene of Oviedo, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren, all of whom were the light of her life. Also surviving is her special friend, Margaret Evegens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lino Pinchiaroli and Robert Quinn, seven brothers and one sister.
Funeral Services will be celebrated at noon Saturday, April 6, at Fuller Metz Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends for viewing two hours prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m.
