Fafco Solar completes solar panel project

Fafco Solar recently completed a solar panel project for the largest, private "Green Energy" powered company in Bonita Springs, Patriot Stor-All.

Patriot Stor-All, formerly known as K-9 Storage, is a warehouse complex located adjacent to the Bonita Springs greyhound racetrack. The property has undergone a number of changes to improve its energy efficiency, the most recent being Fafco Solar's installation of 313 solar panels. Patriot Stor-All plans to have all conversions completed later this month, so that it can "flip the switch" to green energy.

The Patriot Stor-All solar panel installation project was completed by Fafco Solar in late February, and is currently undergoing system testing.

Area Hooters raising funds for Salvation Army

Three area Hooters locations are taking on an aggressive challenge to raise $120,000 in only 3 months for The Salvation Army. The objective is to help meet the Salvation Army's fund-raising goal. Hooters of Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach and Cape Coral will match the community's donations, dollar-for-dollar up to $40,000, in an effort to reach this goal by June 17, 2013.

Hooters will donate $1 from every kid's meal sold mpw through June 17 to the program, and match the funds raised. In addition, the company will host various fund-raising events and invites the Lee County community to help support the cause.
