Cynthia Carol Ray, 18, a lifelong North Fort Myers resident, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013, in Fort Myers. She was born January 20, 1995, in Fort Myers.
She attended North Fort Myers High School and was active with the North Fort Myers Pop Warner cheerleaders. She was an outstanding junior cheerleading coach. She was a giving person. She lived hard and loved hard.
She is survived by her loving parents, Christopher and Cassandra Taylor of North Fort Myers; three siblings, Reyanna Taylor, Ambyre Taylor and Christopher Taylor Jr. all of North Fort Myers; maternal grandfather, Thomas Ray of North Fort Myers; paternal grandparents, John Taylor of North Fort Myers and Sandra Meeks of Fort Myers; a special aunt, Jocelyn (Keith) Darling "Aunt Sis" of Cape Coral; as well as her cousins, Brittney Darling of Cape Coral and Jason Wear of Virginia Beach.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Carolyn Ray (Nonnie), in 2005; maternal great-grandmother, Eura May Hall (Nana), in 2006; maternal great-grandfather, Roy Hall (Papa), in 2003; her maternal great-grandfather, Tom Ray, in 1993; and her uncle, Dewayne Ray, in 1970.
Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m., Thursday, March 14, at the New Hope Christian Church, 17181 Tarpon Way, at Bayshore Road, North Fort Myers with Pastor Tracy Hansen officiating. Suggested dress attire is country casual or camouflage, Cynthia's favorites.
A reception will follow at the Noah Lodge Number 375 F&A.M., 41 Willis Road, North Fort Myers.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made in Cynthia's memory to the North Fort Myers Junior Football Association, P.O. Box 3802, North Fort Myers, FL 33918.
