Marie Victoria Hayes, 62, of North Fort Myers, formerly of Irvington, N.J., passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, in Fort Myers. She was born Dec. 8, 1950, in Newark, N.J., to Anthony and Margaret Kozdemba, now deceased.
She was of the Catholic faith. She worked at Lee Memorial for over 30 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Marie (Daryl) Hayes-Schroeder of Cape Coral; Kelly's father, Bill Hayes; one sister, Dorothy A. (John) Sedlak of Venice, Fla.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Florida and New Jersey.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Eileen Burns, in 2006.
A Celebration of Life will be held at First Assembly West, 121 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, Friday, March 8, 2013, where the family will receive guest from 5-6 p.m., with the service starting at 6 p.m., with Pastor Charlie Brown officiating.
