March 2, 2013
By JIM LINETTE (jlinette@breezenewspapers.com) , Cape Coral Daily Breeze

A three-run uprising in the third inning boosted the North Fort Myers Red Knights to their fourth straight victory, a 6-1 decision over the Mariner Tritons Friday night.

Katie Grubb and Ashlee Hroncich contributed two hits to the Knights' cause and Grubb came through with the key hit in the three-run rally, a two-run single. The third run in that rally scored on a passed ball.

Alynn Kayatta struck out four and allowed just one run on four hits to remain unbeaten with a 5-0 mound record.
