Senior right-hander Sean Brady mowed down opposing batters over 5 2/3 innings Wednesday night as Ida Baker registered a 1-0 no-hit victory over North Fort Myers.
Brady struck out 15 batters and with reliever Luke Rolland posted the first no-hitter of the season.
Brady (2-0) also figured into the game-winning run in the fifth inning with a leadoff double, one of only three base hits by the Bulldogs. After advancing to third base on a passed ball, Brady scored in Isaac Struense's sac-fly to right field.
The Bulldogs (3-1) host Cape Coral on Friday.

Island Coast 7, North Port 0: Freshman Anthony Churlin belted a double over the centerfielder's head in a key situation in the fifth inning to drive in two runs and spark Island Coast to a shutout victory Wednesday night over North Port.
Leadin 1-0, the Gators got the leadoff batter on base with a walk in the fifth. After a sacrifice, and an intentional walk to get to Churlin, the freshman came through in a big way driving in two runs for a 3-0 lead. The floodgates opened and the Gators added three more runs for a five-run rally that established a 6-0 cushion.
F.T. Corso, who struck out seven over five innings, got the win. Cole Ondrejka was the only multiple hitter for the Gators, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
The Gators (2-3) are offering a BBQ fundraiser before and during Friday's home game against Lehigh to support the team.

Gulf Coast 8, Mariner 3: Trailing 3-1 in the fourth inning, and with two outs, Gulf Coast rallied for five runs taking advantage of three Mariner fielding errors to open a comfortable lead en route to victory Wednesday night.
Junior Luis Ferrer drove in a pair of runs for the Tritons, with a sac-fly in the first inning and a single in the sixth. The Tritons were limited to just three hits in the game.

Fort Myers 3, Cape Coral 2: Fort Myers pushed across three runs in the sixth inning Wednesday night and held on to beat Cape Coral.
Emily McLain doubled and later scored on a groundout for one of Cape's runs with pitcher Makenzie Buss accounting for the other run with a solo home run.
The Seahawks (4-2) play at North Fort Myers Friday.

Gulf Coast 6, Mariner 4: A 5-0 deficit proved too much to ovecome Wednesday night as Mariner lost at Gulf Coast.
Taylor Henderson went 2-for-4 to lead the Tritons at the plate despite enjoying a 9-7 edge in total base hits over the Sharks.
The Tritons rallied with three runs in the fifth inning to trim the deficit to 5-3, but the Sharks held on for the win.
