Betty E. Kerslager, 87, a Cape Coral resident since 2003, formerly of Wausau, Wis., passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, in Cape Coral. She was born Oct. 18, 1925, in Merrill, Wis., to Andrew and Clara Bornberg, now deceased.
She was a Jehovah's Witness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Kerslager, in 1982; her brother, Bruce Bornberg; as well as her former husband, Philip Shape.

She is survived by her two sons, Kirk Kerslager of Cape Coral and Greg (Suzanne) Shape of Yerington, Nev.
