Founded in 1949 as Cox Lumber Company by Mr. Linton Tibbetts as a single location in St.Petersburg Florida. Expanded to 27 locations by 2006 with 13 truss plants and 13 Door shop imbedded in locations. Sold to Home Depot in May of 2006 reemerged in 2010 as Tibbetts Lumber Company currently with 4 locations 3 with imbedded truss plants. Ready to grow with the market.
