Stanley E. "Butch" Templeton, 73, of St. James City passed away Dec. 2, 2012.
He was born April 27, 1939, in Elizabeth, N.J., a son of Stanley and Sarah (Love) Templeton, now deceased. He grew up with eight brothers and sisters: Thelma and Ronald, who survive him, and Donald, Alan, Dick, Cora, Shirley and Alice, who are now deceased.
He spent his working years in warehousing. He was a die-hard New York Giants fan and also rooted for the lowly New York Mets. After retirement he and Mary moved to Pine Island, where he enjoyed his passion for boating and fishing. He considered the waters at New Pass in Bonita a "paradise," which will become his final resting place.
