The lighting of a giant 5-foot-tall candy menorah will highlight the annual Grand Menorah Chanukah celebration sponsored by the Chabad Jewish Center at Coralwood Shopping Center, at 2301 Del Prado Blvd., S., Cape Coral. Children and adults are invited to participate in the exciting Chanukah Candyland celebration. Festivi-ties begin at 6 p.m., Monday, Dec. 10.

Each year Chabad presents an exciting Chanukah program that is fun, educational and hands on.

"We are always looking for new ideas to keep the kids on the edge of their seats. The Candy Menorah was perfect," said Rabbi Yossi Labkowski, director of the Chabad Jewish Center of Cape Coral. "The uniqueness of the Menorah is what the child remembers. Not only are we trying to give the children a unique and exciting Chanukah experience; we are teaching them that the Holidays are fun and exciting." Labkowski hopes that these exciting programs will make an everlasting impression on the children and will give them positive feelings towards Judaism in their adulthood.
