The Lee Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is sponsoring a series of "Books and Gifts To Go" sales this month. These fund-raising efforts will help the auxiliary reach its commitment of $500,000 towards the capital campaign to build the new Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida.
"Books and Gifts To Go" sales will be held Nov. 12-13 in the Lee Memorial Hospital main lobby, and Nov. 14-15 in the HealthPark Medical Center atrium. They will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and will feature cookbooks, novels, inspirational and health books, handbags, wallets, luggage, fine fashion, gold and silver jewelry, and more!
The Auxiliary donates the money it raises to fund projects, programs and technology to benefit Lee Memorial Health System patients, their families, visitors, employees, and the community. In 2011, a commitment of $500,000 over five years was made to the Capital Campaign for the new Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida. The funds will benefit Barbara's Friends-The Children's Hospital Cancer Fund.
