John (Chip) H. Cranford III, 58, of Venice, Fla., passed away Oct. 12, 2012. A son of John and Joyce Cranford, he service the U.S. Navy for four years and as a firefighter for 10.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; daughter, Sharon; son, John; and grandchild, Emily.
He loved good time with family and friends and sailing. Sail on, Chip.
There will be a private memorial and inurnment at Sarasota National Cemetary.
