Russell Rubin, 47, of Alva, Fla., passed into eternity Sept. 29, 2012. He was born on July 27, 1965, in New Hyde Park, N.Y.
He is survived by his loving parents, Judy and Burton Rubin; children, Johanna and Michael Rubin; his fianc, Suzy Joiner; as well as four loving siblings, Patricia Rayon, Audrey Milton, Sandy Baldi and Jeffrey Milton; in addition to their loving spouses, Robert Rayon, Keith Colie, Robert Baldi and Christina Upegi. Other survivors include many loving nephews and nieces: Monica, Bobby, Brett, Christy, Chad, Salvatore, Blake, Austin, and Blaine.
He was loved by his children, sharing many laughs and good times together. Johanna and Michael best describe their dad as an artist of many mediums; photography, painting and stone sculpting. He transformed the pain and struggle of his life experiences into beautiful and strong everlasting forms of stone. His spirit and talent will forever remain here on earth.
He is admired by his loved ones, family, friends and collectors of fine art. His love of animals is expressed in all of his art forms! He continues to be a soaring star blazing through the universe! He will be sorley missed but never forgotten.
Memorial services were held Thursday, Oct. 4, at North Ft. Myers Church of the Nazarene, 6781 Bayshore Road, North Fort Myers.
