Bishop Verot junior Bobby Brennan has made a verbal commitment to play NCAA Division I baseball at the University of Maine, according to his family.
The pitcher/shortstop chose Maine because the family moved to Cape Coral from Maine for the specific purpose of playing baseball year round and, hopefully, earn a college baseball scholarship.
"In Maine the baseball season in two months," said father Bob Brennan. "We moved here because it is a hotbed for baseball. Bobby played one year of Little League at Verdow Park prior to enrolling at Bishop Verot."
