The Oasis Sharks circled the competition like their predatory nickname Saturday, going undefeated in five matches to win their own Shark Invitational volleyball tournament.
The Sharks (5-0) won all four preliminary matches and capped the day with a 25-18, 25-14 victory over runner-up Palmetto Ridge (3-2) in the championship match.
Ida Baker took third in the five-team tourney going 3-2. Immokalee finished 1-4 and Everglades City ended 0-4.
The Sharks topped Ida Baker in the opening round 25-8, 25-12; downed Palmetto Ridge 25-10, 25-18 in the second round; beat Everglades City 25-18, 25-11 in the third; and stopped Immokalee 25-12, 25-10 in the last round.
The Sharks (7-2 overall) host Marco Island Academy at 5 p.m. Monday
