Robert “Bob” “Vern” Lewis Dolliff

Robert "Bob" "Vern" Lewis Dolliff, 67, a Cape Coral resident for over 15 years, formerly of Massachusetts and Maryland, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, at his home in Cape Coral. He was born May 14, 1945, in Milford, Mass., to Edwin and Dorothy Dolliff, now deceased.

He was a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran. He was retired from General Motors Corporation and was a friend of Ralph's Place in Cape Coral. He will be missed.

He is survived by his loving son, Brian Dolliff of Westborough, Mass.; two grandchildren, Breanna Uhulman and Lucas Lambert both of Massachusetts; his sister-in-law, Patricia Dolliff of Rhode Island; a niece, Michele Dolliff of Rhode Island; as well as a nephew, Michael Dolliff of Texas.

Mr. Doliff was preceded in death by his two brothers, Tommy and Paul Dolliff.

Memorial services in Cape Coral were held Saturday, Sept. 1.

Memorial services in Massachusetts will be announced at a later date.
