Cape High Schools' swim teams won their season openers against Cypress Lake Tuesday night, with the boys winning 123-47 and the girls earning a 128-52 victory.
Leading the boys' victory was double-event winner Amar Turnadzic, with victories in the 100 freestyle and the 100 backstroke.
Leading the Seahawk girls was freshman Savannah Bowser with first place finishes in the 100 fly and the 500 freestyle.

The North Fort Myers boys golf team fell to Estero at Magnolia Landing Tuesday 185-207 in its first match of the season.
Cameron Coggins led the Red Knights with a 51. He was followed by T.J. Bubar, Eric Schnell-Hall and Nick Marchitto, who each carded a 52.
Estero's Aaron Hunter led the way for the winners with a 40. Jones Vanvalkenloug carded a 42, while Michael Adams and Adam Gunder recorded scores of 49 and 54, respectively.
Ida Baker dropped its season opener to North Fort Myers High Tuesday night, 25-17, 25-3, 20-25 and 25-15.
Leading the Bulldogs in the loss was sophomore Ashley Vargas, who had five kills and two solo blocks.
The Bulldogs return to action Thursday at home against Cape High School.
Mariner won its season-opener Tuesday night, defeating visiting Island Coast High, 13-25, 25-23, 25-22, 19-25 and 15-8.
Leading the Tritons were Brittany Smith with six aces, Heather Gillions with five kills and Susanna Robertson with two kills.
The Tritons travel to Lehigh Thursday for their next match.
