The Florida Repertory Theatre has announced its 15th Anniversary Season of nationally acclaimed and award-winning live professional theatre in the Fort Myers River District.
The 2012-2013 Season includes 10 productions playing between Oct. 23 and May 5 in two performance venues: the 393-seat Historic Arcade Theatre and the newly renovated 120-seat ArtStage Studio Theatre.
The Studio Theatre will feature an expanded playing area, four plays with larger casts, higher ceilings and assigned seating. Construction on the venue is slated to begin Aug. 6 and will open with a historical comedy about Thomas Edison and Henry Ford, "Camping with Henry & Tom," Oct. 31. The renovation of the Studio Theatre, now called ArtStage, was made possible in large part with the generous support of Florida Rep board member, individual donor, and friend, Arthur "Art" Zupko.
The 2012-13 Season features six plays in the Arcade and four in the ArtStage Studio.
