Wherry joins Progressive Builders as project coordinator
David Wherry has joined Progressive Builders Inc. in the newly created position of production coordinator. He is originally from Saint Marys, W.Va., and holds a business degree from West Virginia University. He relocated to Fort Myers in 2003 to work in the PGA golfing apprentice program at gated communities before he started Scrubbers Cleaning Company six years ago.
In his new role, Wherry is in charge of business development and supervising projects to retain high customer satisfaction as the company expands. His work primarily focuses on project planning and scheduling, communications with subcontractors, clients and suppliers, purchasing, cost management, quality assurance, record keeping, and risk management.

Granger awarded RSPS Certification
Susan Granger with Miloff Aubuchon Realty Group has recently been awarded the Resort and Second Home Specialist Certification. The RSPS Certification is a nationally-recognized certification awarded by the National Association of REALTORS to an elite group of real estate professionals who have obtained advanced expertise in the resort and second home specialty fields.
As an international specialist, Granger successfully works with international buyers of United States real estate, specifically Southwest Florida. Through her studies, she has taken her real estate expertise to a new level, with an expanded, global real estate perspective, and distinct understanding of international real estate buyers and investors. She is very familiar with European customs and culture, having spent 4 years teaching and living in France. She also speaks French fluently.
Susan has also earned her certification as a Certified International Property Specialist, which gives her hands-on experience in international real estate transactions. Port Authority director to provide overview of available properties
Lee County continues to lay the groundwork for a variety of real estate development projects and business opportunities at Southwest Florida International Airport. Mark Busalacchi, director of properties for the Lee County Port Authority, will offer an overview of the properties available, explain business incentives, and provide an update on the infrastructure projects underway. The presentation takes place at the Sept. 11 meeting of the Real Estate Investment Society.
Current projects include: Skyplex Boulevard, a commercial route being built between Daniels Parkway and Chamberlin Parkway; construction of a direct access road from I-75 to the airport terminal; and the 1100 acres of commercial sites at Skyplex being marketed by Lee County Port Authority. Business development incentives and real estate broker compensation programs will also be discussed. Following the presentation, the Port Authority will respond to questions of specific interest to the real estate investment and development industry.
