The Cape Coral Hurricanes matched their highest goal output of the season this weekend when they scored six as they came from behind to win the game, 6-4.
The first half proved a tougher affair as the Hurricanes fell behind early 1-0 as Jean Francois scored for the All-Stars.
The Hurricanes tied it up 1-1 as Juan Rincon finished off a great pass from Andres Franco but fell behind again as two consecutive goals were scored just before half time leaving the score 3-1.
The second half goals were scored by Davian Cranston, Oliviet Bene-dict, Andy Hernandez, Anthony Monaco and Juan Rincon scored his second of the game.
The Hurricanes next game is this coming Saturday night as they replay the Fort Myers Genesis team that they opened up the season with. It will be a totally different game though as there are only a few of the remaining players from the opening night squad that faced Genesis back in May. It's expected to be another thriller this weekend.
There will also be a pre-game mini game between the Cape Coral Cyclones Girls 16s and 17s that will start at 5 p.m. Admission will be taken early for that game but everyone is welcome to stay for the Hurricanes game starting at 7 p.m. There is only two weeks left in the official schedule for this inaugural exhibition season with the final game on Aug. 11 against Cape Coral FC which is one of the top Cape Coral teams in recent years.
