Branch of Life Christian Fellowship

The Branch of Life Christian Fellowship will be sponsoring a Social Healing Group beginning Friday, July 6, at 7 p.m. at its worship center at 815 S.E. 47th St., (at the corner of Coronado Parkway and S.E. 47th Street), Cape Coal. The group will deal with healing and recovery from guilt, low-self-esteem, depression, damaged emotions and addiction.

Cape Alliance Church

Cape Alliance Church's Summer Sermon Series is "Acts - A first Century Blueprint for 21st Century Living." As the Resurrection draws us to Christ, so the Ascension should draw us to each other. Together with Christ we are stronger and have purpose and direction for our lives. The message of Acts reminds that God isn't finished with us yet. He has great plans for us.

Cape Christian Fellowship

Cape Christian Fellowship has a worship time and style to fit everyone. Contemporary worship is held on Sunday mornings at 9:45 and 11:15. Traditions, which incorporates communion, classic hymns and a more relaxing atmosphere, is held Sunday mornings at 8:30. Family Nights is held on Fridays at 6:30 p.m., and is always followed by a special event or activity for the whole family to enjoy. All of the services have the same message - this week Pastor Dennis Gingerich speaks on "The Fine Art of Dying Well."

During the 9:45 and 11:15 a.m. worship gatherings, Bugz Landing is where infants through Pre-K learn about how God loves them and how Jesus is their forever friend. KidzStreet is for children from kindergarten through 5th grade and Infuse is where middle school students learn to grow in their faith. There is a special service every Wednesday night, "Awakening" for high school students, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Cape Coral First United Methodist Church

Cape Coral First United Methodist Church's current sermon series is entitled "Faith for Tough Times: The Message of the Prophet Jeremiah." We are living in the midst of challenging times. Uncertainty and conflict are pervasive in our world and in our personal lives. In this sermon series, we'll turn to the biblical book of Jeremiah, which was written in the midst of economic strife, social division, and personal struggles. Join us as we explore how Jeremiah's life and words might help us to develop a faith for tough times, and to live with hope for the future.

Foundations Early Learning Center provides childcare, preschool and afterschool care for children from infants to 4 years old in a new facility as part of the growing family and youth programs at Cape Coral First United Methodist Church. Christ Lutheran Church

"Sky - Everything is Possible with God," Vacation Bible School at Christ Lutheran Church, 2911 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral,, will be held July 9-13. Bible stories, crafts, singing, games, bounce house and more will be featured.

The program is for children ages 4 and up. Adults can enjoy Bible study at same time. Dinner served at 5:15 p.m., with the program running from 6 - 8:30 p.m. Registration is $15 per child, $30 maximum per family. Scholarships are available. The church's "Missionary of the Month" is the Rev. Allen Vander Pol. He is a missionary and professor at Miami International Seminary. He writes theology courses in English for students around the world who study with MINTS. He writes courses in Systematic (doctrinal) Theology. He supervises students and study centers in Southeast Asia. He travels to India, Myanmar and the Philippines to teach and supervise the work of study centers there. He also tutors a student in Malawi.
