Anyone with writing experience interested in covering high school football games in the fall is urged to contact the Cape Coral Breeze sports department.
The freelance writing opportunity requires a knowledge of football, get quotes from coaches and/or players afterward and the ability to keep good stats of the game assigned on Friday nights. Coverage includes writing a 500 word story on the game on a tight deadline.
Access to a computer and an email account at home is helpful.
Similar assignments could be forthcoming for those willing and able to make themselves available.
