Death investigation under way on Teasdale Drive in North Fort Myers

Today, May 11, at 6:50 a.m., the Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of shots being fired at 4403 Teasdale Drive in North Fort Myers. According to a report isused by the LCSO, as deputies were responding, a related call came in regarding an injured subject one block over at 5885 Sandburg Drive.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they located two persons deceased on Teasdale Drive and one injured person on Sandburg Drive. The injured person had fled the scene on Teasdale and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Due to the nature of the incident, detectives with the Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene to assume the investigation. Officers believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.

The names and causes of death are not being released at this time. Updates will be provided as they become available.
