William M. DePirro, 59, of Cape Coral, lost his battle with cancer Monday, April 30, 2012
He faithfully served his country, as a United States Marine, in the Vietnam Was as a communication specialist. He worked as a sous chef apprentice at the Brown Derby in California, and studied at Joliet Junior College in French cuisine. He opened his restaurant in Joliet, Ill., 1984-1988. He had such a love for the outdoors; he opened Wilsher Landscaping in the Chicago land area 1988-2004. In January 2005, he became a resident of Cape Coral.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. DePirro and Beverly Jean (Schiek); and father-in-law, Gerald T. Peloquin.

Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Sheryle (Felker); his children, Mitchell (Jenny) DePirro, Nicholas, Christopher and Brenna DePirro, Matthew (Tom) and Allison Lesert; his siblings, Patrick and Margaret (Peggy) DePirro, Stephen DePirro and Joseph (Jessica) Notar; brothers-in-law, Kip (Diane) Felker, Richard (Michelle) Felker, Joel (Chum Sun) Peloqiun, David (Julie) Van Dam and Scott (Sandy) Van Dam; sisters-in-law, Kristine (Rick) Lemonds, Jill (Jim) Stoddard and Judi (Dan) DeVries; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; his parents-in-law, Norman and Beverly Felker and Janet Peloquin; his godparents, William and Evelyn (DePirro) Notar; and his mom's sister, Raymond and Janice Daul and their children, Terri, Suzy, Kathy and Mary.
A funeral will be held at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 S.W. Pine Island Road, Cape Coral, today, May 5, starts at 11 a.m. until noon.
